Well, Mother Nature, thanks ever so much for FINALLY letting my period begin. Especially considering the fact I've been "feeling it coming" since last Saturday (not yesterday - the one before). I just have no fucking clue what to expect anymore. Last month, I had no PMS to speak of - the day I started feeling a bit cranky was the day I started bleeding, and by the next morning I was fine. I actually remember boasting to my chiropractor that I had it all figured out - I just need to eat my veggies, my fresh greens and fruits every day, and my monthly cycle will become a breeze. This month, I haven't done anything differently - still eating my green salads, taking my supplements etc. - and yet, the uneasiness/crankiness just dragged on and on like limp, overcooked spaghetti. I am still not bleeding properly, btw - but I can feel the cramps and the dizziness, so I know I'm almost there. What I don't know is how I'll be feeling tomorrow morning. I could be either limp as a rag, or I could be fine. There are no rules anymore. Either way, I suppose I have to somehow drag myself to work, because of the massive pile of updates for a client that has to be finished by Tuesday. If I don't show up, the boss won't be happy - and Ana won't be happy either, since she will have to defeat the pile all by herself. And the funny thing is, I was absolutely sure my period (or the worst part of it, anyway) would be well over by Monday (last month, it started on a Thursday night). So I was actually glad it didn't start on time - "well, at least it'll happen over the weekend for once". Haha. No rules, remember?...:/

That said, I'm not in much pain and I don't feel the need to lie down in fetal position... so it could be worse, I guess. I just wish I knew what it was I did last month to make it so much better. So I could, you know, do it again. The only change I can think of is that I have stopped taking my allergy pills. I had been taking them regularly for many weeks, because whenever I skipped a day, the sneeze attack would begin again. But then, gradually, the 24-hour doze began to last longer: 36 hours, two days, almost three... until I felt I didn't need the pills anymore. I still sneeze every once in a while, especially in the mornings - but it's my "normal" sneezing, triggered by house dust, not by whatever was causing the mucus mayhem back in June. Anyway... could the allergy pills possibly have made my last period milder?... Or is it just that I do get older every month, and menopause is approaching, and it's just gonna get worse and worse before it finally stops?... Or - don't even tell me - is that was menopause feels like?... Like neverending PMS?... God help me if that is the case, indeed. *shudder*

But enough about that. Let's do another installment of the 30-day meme, since the next topic is ridiculously easy.:P As well as repetitive, for whatever reason.

Haha. Today, all I'm wearing is a nightgown. It's pale pink, with tiny brown/beige flowers on it that match my old, battered pair of flip-flops.:P Super-comfy orthopedic soles, with their fabric lining all torn to shreds, because I wear them ALL THE TIME when I'm home. I NEVER get rid of my shoes until they literally fall apart. And even when they do, I sometimes try to fix them with super-glue.:D

Well... I think I'll shut up now and put myself to bed early, to get some quality sleep before tomorrow...
